Shipping From Canada to United States Tariffs
Due to recent changes in U.S. tariff laws, orders under $800 are now subject to duty charges.
For any orders I am currently working on or that have already been paid for, I have reached out to each of you individually with the exact duty amount. This fee must be prepaid so that Canada Post/USPS can accept and process your shipment. Without prepayment, the shipping company will not accept the parcel.
FOR NEW ORDERS
The approximate duty fees plus service fees from the brokerage company work out to about 40% of the order cost. Please reach out to me by email or Instagram prior to placing an order on my website so that I can calculate the exact duty fees, and I can post your order, including the fees onto my website for you to complete the order.
I understand this is an adjustment and appreciate your patience as I work through the new process. The shipping companies here in Canada are also just beginning to implement these changes, so it’s a learning curve for everyone.
Also, I wanted to share that I’m currently working on having my shop CUSMA certified (Canada–U.S.–Mexico Agreement). Once approved, this should either eliminate or significantly reduce these tariff fees moving forward. I know this change has been inconvenient, and I’m doing everything I can to smooth out the process for my customers. I will keep you updated once approved for CUSMA.
Thank you for bearing with me, and please know that I remain committed to providing you with custom-made, high-quality products.
